TIRA MIS Verification
TIRA stand for Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority. TIRA is a corporate body with perpetual succession and a common seal established to provide for the functions and powers of regulating and supervising insurance business and for related matters in the United Republic.
Steps for Verification
1. Go direct to TIRA MIS portal: https://tiramis.tira.go.tz
2. Enter Vehicle Information: On the homepage, you’ll see a section labeled “Verify Insurance Cover
Note. Choose either: Cover Note Reference Number, Registration Number, Sticker Number or Chasis Number
3. Once you’ve entered the information, click the “VERIFY” button.
4. View Results: The results will indicate whether the car has a valid insurance policy or not.
