Graduate teacher education history in Tanzania
Graduate teachers education was established at the university college of Dar es salaam in 1961 up to 1971 its name to be UDSM.
Since the year of 1964 up to 2000’s, the udsm was the only institution which was offering graduate teachers education.
After 2000 the numbers of universities were established to train teachers like duce, MUCE, TEKU, MAKUMIRA, etc hence the mushrooming of universities
