What are the procedures to become/filling the form in order to be registered
1. Application for membership. One was obliged to fill prescribed application forms which would then be submitted to CHAKIWATA executive secretary.
This procedure applied to both individuals i.e. associate members.
2. Members;
a. Full membership was granted to professional teachers who lived and worked in the URT.
b. Associate membership was granted to teachers with the following qualifications:
- Teachers with teaching licenses who had no professional training although they actually taught in schools or colleges in the country.
- Professional teachers outside the country.
- Non – practicing professional teachers from other countries working in Tanzania.
There are some Tanzanians who works outside Tanzania.
- Students in teacher training collage or in the universities who were studying to become teachers.
c. Honorary membership was granted to individuals who had made outstanding contributions to the teaching profession.
