Another service available through the Internet is the service to check the National Identity number where the citizen opens the link https://services.nida.go.tz/nidportal/get_nin.aspx and then fills in his information correctly and clicks send.

STEPS
1. Visit NIDA online portal at https://vitambulisho.nida.go.tz/
2. Click Find your region where you registered for NIDA "Chagua Mkoa Wa Mahali Ulipo Jiandikisha"
3. Choose District "Chagua Wilaya Ya Mahali Ulipo Jiandikisha"
4. Select “Ward” "Chagua Kata Ya Mahali Ulipo Jiandikisha"
5. Select 'Village/Street "Chagua Kijiji/Mtaa Wa Mahali Ulipo Jiandikisha"
6. Now check your name and place where you will find your original copy of NIDA
